Kyoto Digital attended the Pharmacy Show 2026 at the NEC Birmingham. Our CEO & Founder Simy Choudhary met pharmacy owners, technology partners and suppliers across the exhibition floor to stay close to the challenges UK pharmacies face, and to bring those insights back into the campaigns and websites we build for our clients.

Why we were there

The Pharmacy Show is the UK's largest gathering of pharmacy professionals, and for an agency that lives and breathes healthcare advertising, being there in person matters. The conversations on the exhibition floor tell you more about what pharmacy owners actually need than any report can.

Our CEO & Founder Simy spent the day meeting the people behind the pharmacies, the technology platforms and the suppliers we work alongside every day.

Who we met

The show floor was a snapshot of where pharmacy is heading. We caught up with delivery platform Pharmdel, dispensing technology providers Meditech and Avonnex, PMR system Titan, and PGD providers Nuumad and Charac, alongside Quix Labs, who are helping pharmacies offer smoking and vaping alternatives to adults. We also met Pharmacy Maximiser, a pharmacy SEO agency working with independent pharmacies.

Just as valuable were the conversations with pharmacy owners and directors themselves, including the teams behind Medihub Pharmacy and Avante Pharmacy, about what is actually driving patient growth on the ground.

What we took away

Pharmacy is under more pressure than ever, yet the exhibition hall was full of people who refuse to stand still. That was the story of the day: despite the challenges, the best providers keep innovating and staying ahead of the curve.

The pattern was hard to miss. The pharmacies growing fastest are the ones pushing private treatments like weight management and travel vaccinations, offering online booking, and using paid advertising to bring in new patients. The ones waiting for footfall to return on its own are being left behind.

None of that needs to be complicated. A well-run Google Ads campaign, a website that takes bookings while you sleep and a clear private services page are often the difference between a pharmacy that plateaus and one that scales. It is exactly the work we do for our pharmacy clients every day, and it was encouraging to hear so many owners asking about it unprompted.

What happens next

We came away with new partnerships to explore, familiar faces to catch up with properly, and a notebook full of ideas to bring into our clients' campaigns. Thank you to everyone who stopped to talk, and for the support and kind words throughout the day.

We are on a mission to make Kyoto Digital the agency every UK clinic and pharmacy wants on their side. If you are looking to scale your pharmacy, book a free growth consultation and let's chat.
