The challenge
Our client had virtually no online presence. Aside from an outdated website and the occasional organic social media post, they relied heavily on Deliveroo and Uber Eats for orders. Wanting to drive more direct in-house orders, they invested thousands in a brand-new website with built-in ordering functionality. However, with a limited budget of just £600 per month, making every pound count was crucial to success.
The client had aspirations for expansion, and driving more orders for their existing three locations was paramount. With over 10,000 takeaway-related enquiries per month on Google, the search demand was there. We proposed PPC management, as we believed this would be the most economical option.


The solution
There was a strong demand for pizza-related searches in Leeds. After conducting keyword research, we decided that search campaigns were the way to go. We also wanted to maximise the impact of the client’s high-quality in-house content, so we paired the search campaigns with Performance Max (PMax) campaigns.
We took the time to understand the client’s margins and key menu items they wanted to push. To optimise results, we structured the campaigns by category—separating takeaway items like pizzas, kebabs, and burgers. Alongside this, we launched a broader PMax campaign focused on increasing overall brand presence and driving more direct orders.
